Founded October 9, 1902 as a sister church to the Elizabeth City Baptist Church, now First Baptist Church. Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church is committed to demonstrating God's love by feeding the hungry, serving the homeless, reaching out to others, and spreading the gospel to a world in need.
