Jubilee is a replant of Ephesus Baptist Church, an historic Chapel Hill congregation founded in 1891. The church is organized around freedom in Christ and practices dissent from oppressive power structures while bearing witness to a different world. They worship to remember God, gather to offer nourishment and healing, struggle against what holds people captive, and liberate each other from debt.
